CNC Milled Foam Seating
We can CNC mill a wide range of open celled PU foams with hardness values ranging from 3kPa to 20+kPa. All parts are milled within a +/-2mm tolerance, measured and quality checked. Grades we commonly work with are MP, FRM, DAX & Vastipur (aviation carbon filled) commonly used for testing, styling, comfort and low production. CMRBH, REFLEX & HLB. Commonly used for modelling, show seats, mock ups & concepts.
Foam & Trim Develepment
Foam & Trim service If required is the natural progression of any seat development program. We have the great advantage of working closely with one of the finest Trim development companies in the country. Having worked closely together for the past 10 yrs on numerous projects, both Protofoam & Prototrim will deliver exactly what the customer needs to the brief.
Other Services we provide
With over 25yrs machining experience we have adapted to machining a huge variety of soft materials. Our key strength lies in our ability to mill almost all grades of open celled PU foam but we are also capable of milling Memory Foam, EPP, EPS, Styling Boards, Model Boards and Tooling Boards. With our model making skills we are able to modify existing seats by hand or machine and can work to 2D data if CAD is not available.
